MOSCOW, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has started construction of an ice-resistant platform for the Kamennomysskoye-morye shelf gas field in the Arctic Kara Sea, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
“Today in the Astrakhan Region the Southern Center for Shipbuilding and Ship Repairs, part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), has held a ceremony to lay down the foundation for Gazprom’s ice-resistant platform for development of the Kamennomysskoye-morye shelf,” the company said.
